Role overview
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue by closing new business and expanding existing accounts. You will manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and demoing, to negotiation and closing — and collaborate closely with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure customer success and retention.
Key responsibilities
Own end-to-end sales process: prospecting, qualification, demos, proposals, negotiation and close.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline using CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Conduct product demonstrations and ROI conversations tailored to customer use cases.
Develop account plans for target customers and verticals.
Collaborate with Marketing to follow up on leads and campaigns.
Work with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and upsell opportunities.
Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene.
Success metrics (KPIs)
New ARR / bookings achieved vs. quota.
Pipeline value and conversion rate.
Average deal size and sales cycle length.
Win rate vs. proposals submitted.
Customer satisfaction / churn on closed accounts (post-handover).
Required qualifications
Proven quota-carrying experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
Strong consultative selling and executive-level communication skills.
Comfortable with CRM, video demos, and virtual selling.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred
Enterprise sales experience or selling to technical buyers (CTO/CPO).
Experience selling across multiple regions.
Familiarity with AI, ML or analytics product terminology.
