1. Audit Senior
As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in our audit engagements, leading teams, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the meticulous execution and timely delivery of high-quality audits in compliance with Malaysian standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, plan, and manage audit engagements from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to professional and firm standards.
2. Supervise, coach, and review the work of audit associates, providing constructive feedback and contributing to their professional development.
3. Identify and assess financial statement risks, developing effective audit strategies and work programs.
4. Ensure all audit work is conducted in strict compliance with approved Malaysian Auditing Standards (MAS), Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), and Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS).
5. Act as a primary point of contact for clients on engagement progress, technical accounting issues, and audit findings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline from a recognized university.
2. Possession of a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) or be a finalist actively pursuing such qualification. Membership with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is highly advantageous.
3. Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in external audit
4. Demonstrable strong technical knowledge and practical application experience of MFRS, MPERS, and Malaysian taxation principles.
5. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
6. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
