Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Switchboard Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for installing and commissioning of electrical systems at client's locations, conducting routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential issues, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical system failures or malfunctions, performing onsite equipment repairs during a breakdown or warranty claim, and being available for 24x7 on-call support to address urgent issues. Key Responsibilities: 1. Install and commission electrical systems at client locations, both offshore and onshore 2. Conduct routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential issues. 3. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical system failures or malfunctions. 4. Perform onsite equipment repairs during a breakdown or warranty claim. 5. Be available for on-call support to address urgent issues outside regular working hours. 6. Maintaining personal and company work tooling, ensuring 100% availability. 7. To be committed & responsible for Quality Management System: 8. Implement the process approach and risk-based thinking Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2. Competency certificates of Eaton X Energy Switchboards, UX, Holec Capitole 40 3. Minimum 5 years service and/or commissioning experience on electrical low voltage switchboards upto 690VAC 4. Ability to operate secondary injection kit (Omicron CMC 356, Sevekker kit) on protection relay calibration and testing 5. Ability to operate primary injection kit (Omicron CPC 100) on electrical busbar stress test Preferred Competencies: 1. Experience with low voltage switchboard design. 2. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials selection. 3. Knowledge of design for manufacturability principles. 4. Strong knowledge of electrical standards and regulations. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
