Job Description

• Lead and execute inshore, nearshore, and offshore survey operations, ensuring adherence to project requirements and industry standards. • Conduct Multi-Beam Echo Sounder (MBES) data acquisition, processing, and quality assurance, providing high-resolution bathymetric data. • Plan, coordinate, and oversee DGPS and gyro calibrations to ensure accurate positioning and heading data. • Collaborate with dimensional survey teams, survey engineers, and other personnel during mobilization and demobilization activities. • Manage and troubleshoot survey equipment, including MBES, USBL systems, sound velocity profilers, tide gauges, and additional survey instrumentation. • Generate and review survey reports, data summaries for clients. • Support dredging projects by performing post-dredging surveys, data analysis, and volume calculations. • Maintain records of calibration, system checks, and field notes in compliance with QA/QC standards. • Provide technical guidance to junior surveyors, data processors, and field crew. • Stay updated with the latest MBES processing techniques and software and implement improvements to enhance data quality. • Assist in vessel mobilization and demobilization tasks, ensuring proper installation and alignment of survey equipment. • Conduct in-depth analysis of bathymetric, topographic, and environmental data for accurate geospatial representations.
