Job Description

A site engineer's role is to ensure the safe, efficient, and regulatory compliant execution of construction projects. They are responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Project management: Oversee construction work, manage project packages, and ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, and timescales Technical expertise: Apply technical knowledge and expertise to provide technical advice and solve problems Safety and compliance: Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and ensure health and safety policies are adhered to Design and planning: Draft blueprints, collaborate with designers and architects, and incorporate sustainable features into design plans Communication: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other professionals, and prepare reports for non-technical stakeholders Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities Collaboration: Collaborate with management to align activities with business outcomes
