Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Conduct offshore geophysical and hydrographic survey operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines. Operate and maintain survey equipment, including positioning systems, multibeam echosounders, and sub-bottom profilers. Collect, process, and quality-control survey data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Support offshore navigation and positioning requirements for geophysical projects. Work collaboratively with geophysicists, survey engineers, and vessel crew to achieve project objectives. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to survey equipment and software. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. Maintain detailed survey logs, reports, and documentation for project completion. Assist in project mobilization, execution, and demobilization activities. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics/Surveying, Naval Hydrographic training establishment, or a professional survey institution, with 3 years of relevant offshore survey experience. OR Diploma in Geomatics/Surveying, Naval Hydrographic training establishment, or a professional survey institution, with 6 years of relevant offshore survey experience. Experience in offshore survey techniques, positioning systems, and data acquisition. Proficiency in industry-standard survey software such as QINSy, EIVA, or Hypack.
