Job Description
Account assistants should have strong organisational and communication skills, as well as a knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Account assistants supply administrative support to accountants by performing clerical tasks such as filing, handling email and phone calls and basic bookkeeping.
Job Scope includes a variety of tasks that support the accounting team and tax compliance team
Filing, updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Data Entry entering data accurately and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Working with spreadsheet, accounting software, and tax reporting software
Reconciling accounts Comparing bank statement or suppliers statement with ledger to ensure they are identical.
Financial reporting Preparing financial report such as income statement, financial position and cash flow statement
Liaising with clients, auditors, tax authorities and bankers for make enquiry or answering and queries.
